Scans are generally arranged at St Thomas’ Hospital. Women are also referred to St Thomas’ for specialist Obstetric advice when needed.
Both hospital and home deliveries are available and the midwives are happy to discuss these at any appointment.
Pregnant women can also be referred to other hospitals of their choice and can discuss this with their GP.
If you think you are pregnant please make an appointment with a GP. Your details will then be passed on to the community midwives, based in the practice, who provide full antenatal care services, shared with the GP and hospital.
Babies are generally delivered at St Thomas Hospital.
Women can also be referred to other hospitals of their choice for pregnancy care and delivery.
